Hi, Folks! Only Machiatto is available. All others have adoptive homes.

The puppies are twice their birth weight and their eyes are opening well. More pics Wednesday.
Hello, Puppy Parents! Time to pick your baby.
We are as surprised as you that we do not have any white puppies this litter. Considering Cloud’s family tree and Song’s “badger” markings, we are proud to introduce our first sable and brindle pups.
Sable and Brindle are very similar in puppies. Their colors will fade as they mature, but the ears can be expected to stay with color. Whether they remain brindle or become more sable is unknown. Here are some pics of mature sable/brindle poodles.
One girl and one boy are black – the rest are sable or brindle. Here’s your lineup – girls first. Let us know your pick soon so the next person can choose their puppy, too.
Now the boys are below:
Valentino has a heart over his chest!
puppies come as they desire – their arrival will totally change your day. Song did well and all 9 are strong.
Messed up my coffee time!
Song has had three pups – starting 645 am today. They have more color than were expected and are thriving. My morning will be shot, but we are happy and expecting a large litter.
So far, it’s Latte, Cappuccino, and Macchiato. 1 boy: 2 girls.
This is Song tolerating Twinkie, our 6 month old Malteses female.
Except for being fluffy, Song and Petunia have little in common. Petunia raced to produce puppies; Song can wait on being bothered.
Song is staying clean so she can come wake us up in the night when she starts to whelp.
Song has big milk today – we will check for her temperature drop twice daily. Looking for a drop from 102 to 99 degrees F. Then puppies are due with 24 hours! We will let you know.

With 2 big fluffy dogs, the vacuum needs to stay handy!
Say that three times fast, “Puppy Bumpy Belly“!
Song is quite “preggers” with a lumpy belly that wiggles. That may sound gross, but two vets felt her tummy and said that she is doing very well.
Partially due to the heat and also due to the fact that she will be nursing, we gave Song a funny haircut. Actually, Jan did it while I (Jim) wasn’t home! So, yeah, it looks dumb, but it is very functional. Here are pics of her puppied tummy.
Every dog needs A/C in the “Valley of the Sun”. We have 2 large, fluffy dogs, and it’s just a reality of life here in this heat. All our pets live with us in their own area of the house.
Petunia, the 2.5 year old white Pyre, is rather wolfish in her nature. This is almost entirely to the fact that she was raised as a working livestock protection dog (LPD) in Montana — it has very little to do with her genetics.
She accepts her place as subordinate to us, but she loves the great power in her teeth and enjoys using them. So, some limitations are necessary. It is not that she is “bad”. No. And I remind myself that the proper name for wolf is “Canis lupus” and the proper name for a domesticated dog is just “Canis lupus familiaris“: a domestication of the wolf through centuries of selective breeding oversight. I often call our tough girl “Familiaris” while soothing her less domesticated nature through grooming. Experiencially, she was a working livestock protection dog before we bought her, so she was raised to be a lethal threat to coyotes, lions, and wolves. She likes to show her teeth to us in a prideful way and click them at times. We respect her very much, but have no fear of her. She is totally loyal to us and accepts discipline well. We pet her while she eats and she never challenges us when we take her food away, though she eats voraciously. She accepts her position in the family hierarchy, but does push for her agendas within that lower rank and kind of relationship.
Petunia’s snowy coat has thinned nicely in this Phoenix heat.
Song is so different. She was raised as a show dog so she has never been in the wild or had to do anything for herself. She is totally “familiaris.” She’s a badger Pyre: not pure white, but with coloring of the facial area and ears. It’s like makeup. Song reminds me of a matronly contralto of the opera in that her voice is uncommonly deep and moody – she recalls the felling of a Marian Anderson performance. Neighbors don’t all seem to recognize this, of course. Song is a trusting girl who will give almost anyone a chance.
Song is obedient if not compliant. I tell her once to go to the office and she gets up and goes. She knows when I tell her to go to the back door or the front door of the house.
Her temperament is to be sincere and honest – loving her grooming and requiring it due to her dense undercoat. She does not shed! Being mated to a Poodle, these Fall puppies will make for a super non-shedding family member.
All 12 of Petunia’s pups have been placed. They went quickly – all over the country.
Song drug out her conception and is not due until August. We expect our next litter to be available in October. She is our 4 yr-old G. Pyrenees: she’s such a good mother and so enjoys being preggers.
Folks are already on the waiting list, so let us know if you want a puppy – or need to stay in contact with photos, etc. Call Jan at 406.465.4890 – cell with text. Or email at havinghealthysouls@gmail.com
Thanks!
Here are current photos from 4/29. I will update these pics later today with info on each pup that has a unique color of the collar.
We currently have only 4 boys who are not spoken for.
Four minute movie of Cloud seeing his growing litter of 12 babies.
We still have a few puppies available and just reduced the price to $800. It’s a lot of puppies to place and we want to make sure that they all go to good homes.
Thanks so much!
We waited about 34 hours to feed them again. Petunia, the mom, has tons of milk so the pups are doing fine. Most attacked their lunch, but two were demure about it. Thanks for your interest!
All 12 are doing very well. Here’s a video of them having their first food. Enjoy!
We had a dozen puppies this week! 9 boys; 3 girls – all white.
Petunia is our 2 year old Mom – a solid white Great Pyrenees. Cloud is the Dad – an ivory Standard Poodle.
All 12 babies are thriving. This is Petunia’s first litter and she is a GREAT mom. Let us know if you want to reserve a puppy.
Last puppy video before shipping off to Los Angeles; St. Louis; Laguna Vista, TX; Philadelphia; and Montana homes.
The pups are SO CUTE now. Eating well twice per day. We hold each one while it eats from off a cookie sheet — that’s really good for them as they associate people with food and happiness.
Song is still nursing them, but somewhat less. They are drinking from a bowl of water as well.
The puppies are 3 weeks old and are now able to escape from the kiddie pool. Here’s a video set to “Free Falling”
